  • Restoration of the 70-foot classic wooden yacht Latifa
  • Assessed damage and executed repairs of teak deck furniture
  • Assisted with demolition of deck in preparation for a new teak deck overlay

Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding – Boatbuilding Intern

October 2023 – August 2024
  • Selected as the Prothero Intern
  • Worked independently on multiple boatbuilding projects
    • 25’ Nordic Folkboat – traditional wooden sailboat
    • 24’ Troller – wooden powerboat based on classic fishing vessels
  • Managed the shop, guided students, and gave demonstrations when instructors were absent
  • Performed outreach to potential students and led detailed tours of the school
